The PADI Advanced Open Water Course expands your diving opportunities, allowing you to participate in dives up to 100 feet deep. This training not only builds your confidence but also equips you to navigate more complex underwater scenarios. Once you complete the course, you’re welcome to join our daily dive trips in Miami, specially designed for both Open Water and Advanced Divers!

The Advanced class provides an excellent opportunity to expand your diving skills under professional, experienced supervision. Please don’t think you need to be an experienced diver to take this class. At Diver’s Paradise, our instructors’ years of diving experience make the Advanced class a real learning adventure for divers of all backgrounds. You will learn how to navigate properly, perfect your buoyancy, identify marine life, safely dive on a wreck and go beyond the 60′ limit of the Open Water certification.
Requirements
- You must be able to swim.
- Be at least 12 years old- students under 15 will receive a Jr. Advanced.
- Diver Certification that can be upgraded once 15 years old.
- Be in good physical health and condition.
- Have a great sense of adventure!
Cost
The price for the Advanced certification class is $599. This price includes the PADI e-learning (a $200 value), boat fees, instruction, student SCUBA rental gear, and the license. Your class does not include personal gear (mask, snorkel, and fins), a standard practice in South Florida dive shops. We have these items available in our store. You’re welcome to bring your own, but you’ll also have the option to get professionally fitted when you check in for class. Wetsuits, when needed, are available for rent or purchase in the shop.
